澳洲一名男子稱自己的胡子是最具價值的鬍子，並以100萬美元的價格出售。

環球網據美國新聞聚合網站『buzzfeed』報導，該男子名為吉米(Jimmy Niggles)，他在目睹了26歲的好友死於皮膚癌後開始蓄鬚。據稱，吉米的面部毛囊是全世界最有價值的，不僅僅是因為他長至脖子的茂密紅褐色的鬍子看著很舒服也很富有男子漢氣概，還因為這一把大鬍子拯救過很多條生命。

原來，吉米開辦了Beard Season網站，邀請男士留起大鬍子作為抗擊黑素瘤的形象大使。每到一處，吉米就請其他大鬍子男士幫他傳播黑素瘤的常識，並勸說其他人進行皮膚癌檢查，所以挽救了許多人的生命。據悉，黑素瘤是澳洲致死率最高的癌症之一。

當問到鬍子賣了之後要怎麼辦時，吉米說：『作為這把毛的主人，我可以讓動物標本製作師、藝術品修復師，或者法醫科學家團隊把它刮下來裝進玻璃展示櫃，當然，也可以留在我的下巴上，把鬍子修剪成客人喜歡的樣子。』
