憑藉前一節的大量砍分，公牛早早奠定勝利基礎，火箭終場就以87比111落敗。

第三節Mike Dunleavy得分大爆發，單節就攻下18分，高過火箭全隊的16分，27分的落後在讓火箭在第四節難以追趕，已形同垃圾時間。

公牛平均每場讓對手得92分，防守效率聯盟僅次於溜馬，此戰還打出火箭的進攻球風，打得火箭灰頭土臉。

林書豪本場進攻企圖心強烈，第二節單節9分、第三節單節8分，替補出發的他第四節仍在場上，但也難救球隊，之後也被換下場休息。
