日本的戰國時代，群雄爭霸，造就不少英雄與梟雄，這段歷史成為電影或電玩的取材來源。以推出14部作品的信長之野望系列，將推出《信長之野望：創造》，且在3月27日推出PS4/PS3中文版，讓還來不及買PS4的玩家也能享受好遊戲，兩種版本售價皆為2280元。因過去多發售PC版，這次移植至家用主機，備受矚目。

在一月的台北電玩展期間，TECMO KOEI Games邀請遊戲製作人小笠原賢一來台說明這款遊戲的特色。他說明，《信長之野望：創造》為該系列30週年紀念作之一，是全新的信長之野望，而它也是系列作中手發銷量表現最好之一款。

特色重在寫實，戲劇性與震撼，強調寫實地圖，以及全日本皆被收錄在同一地圖的，玩家還可直接拉近拉遠觀看。本作也發揮PS4的效能，在地圖上的操作最高可達60 fps，並順暢轉換各種視角。在戰鬥時的背景光影、運鏡視典都能給玩家震撼感。

最重要的則是劇情，本作採用自由任務系統，大名的人生是以連續的任務來描述。玩家可選擇要持續解決任務以完成史實，或是建構全新戰國時代。
