在2013年一月，潛水員Jason Neilus和他的朋友深入英國法尼島附近嚴寒的海域中拍攝到一組可愛的小海豹。這些兩個月大的小海豹像家養寵物一樣可愛，它們用鼻子觸碰著攝像機鏡頭，甚至還讓潛水員幫它們撓癢。

環球網據英國《每日郵報》報導，傑森介紹說，他們這次的拍攝經歷了惡夢一般的開始，當時一場風暴迫近，交通狀況很差。但海豹們的合作讓他們覺得所有努力都是值得的。為了不驚擾到小海豹，他們在錄影時沒有打燈光，鏡頭捕捉到的是小海豹在它們的自然棲息地快活玩耍的場景。Jason Neilus在博客中寫到：『過去的六年裡我們常常來到這裡拍攝小海豹，但沒有哪次跟這次一樣有這麼多互動。到處都是海豹，它們圍繞在我們身邊。』

傑森還說，海豹是主動與潛水員互動的，沒有海豹因為互動而受傷。拍攝海豹時，它們才兩個月左右大，但是現在已經長到了2公尺長，重達200到300英鎊(約90.7公斤到136.2公斤)。一旦海豹長到成年，它們大多數會建立起自己的領地，並且不再與人接觸。
