要使用 Fantasy Sports 或 Flickr 等雅虎公司的服務時，沒有雅虎帳號的用戶可以用 Facebook 或者 Gmail 帳號登錄，但是這種日子不會太久了。

根據36氪報導，一名雅虎發言人今天表示，公司新政策將規定用戶必須使用雅虎帳號來登錄其各種在線服務。首當其衝的服務是 Yahoo Sports Tourney Pick」 Em，一個關注 NCAA 籃球聯賽的服務，從下周一開始生效。雖然其他服務暫時可以透過 Facebook 或 Gmail 帳號使用，但最終也會只接受雅虎 ID。

對於此舉，雅虎表示是為了給用戶提供最好的 『個性化體驗』。

雅虎選擇 Tourney Pick' Em 作為第一個採用新規定的服務自有緣由，從北京時間本月 19 日開始，一年一度的 NCAA 錦標賽正式展開。『瘋狂三月 (March Madness)』 本身擁有眾多粉絲之餘，今年由股神巴菲特提供的 10 億美元獎金更是會給這場本來就火爆的賽事澆上一把油。早在一月份時，巴菲特的速貸公司就宣布將為準確預測今年 NCAA 對陣表的人頒發高達 10 億美元獎金。
