谷歌傳幾個月內量產智慧手錶

【賴宇萍╱綜合外電報導】Google為鞏固在智慧裝置市場的領先地位，繼推出Google Glass之後，據傳正與亞洲供應商討論智慧手錶量產事宜，消息人士透露，Google的智慧手錶將在幾個月內做好量產的準備。

《華爾街日報》引述消息人士報導，Google智慧手錶採用Android系統，並搭載個人助理軟體Google Now，可提供用戶建議，並根據用戶正在做的事情來預測用戶所需要的訊息。

儘管三星電子（SAMSUNG）等公司推出的智慧手錶，因價格偏高與功能有限，並未獲得消費者青睞，但Google希望藉由提升續航力與實用性，吸引消費者目光，進一步與蘋果（Apple）等科技大廠在穿戴裝置市場上一較高下。

報導中也指出，其實台灣的大型科技公司多年來一直在考慮推出穿戴式裝置，代工廠商很久以前就有了可以向潛在客戶展示的智慧手錶原型機，但由於廠商認為，智慧手錶的實用性不足，生產成本相對較高，因此放棄了這項產品。
