菲國新法　神父可帶槍上班

【簡竹君╱綜合外電報導】菲律賓本月開始實行的新法規定，醫師、神職人員、新聞記者、會計師等職業者，外出時可攜帶小型槍械，因為他們的「職業有迫切危險」。

美國有線電視新聞網（CNN）15日報導，該法為總統艾奎諾去年5月簽署，今年上路，除了上述職業，得以持槍者還包括護士、工程師、律師等。新法未通過前，他們須證明生命受到實質威脅，才能攜槍。

該法對記者可能是好消息，菲國是記者遭謀殺率最高國家之一，據「保護記者委員會」（CPJ）統計，1992年至今有74名記者死於謀殺，多為政治記者。不過神職人員對該法嗤之以鼻，主教奧利弗羅斯（Jose Oliveros）表示：「主說『凡持劍的，必死在劍下』，神父應是和平使者，非戰爭使者。」
