環保署長沈世宏今晚看完「看見台灣」後感慨「台灣唯一不好的，就是很多台灣人不知道台灣這麼好。」齊柏林讓每個看過的人，認識台灣的好、讓人去重視。最令他感動的是最後一幕。

沈世宏表示，畫面中與環保署最密切的是河川汙染，藻礁、汙染等問題已多年，地方政府應有更多刺激與覺醒，「第一線同仁很努力抓暗管、偷排，卻無法痛下殺手讓它停工」，看完影片，應立即讓它（排汙工廠）停工一段很長時間，才能認真去面對，不偷排、處理好汙染。

沈世宏今在主管會報中指示，以後哪個地方政府若稽查人員辛苦抓到暗管，上頭還不採取政策讓工廠停工，會停止補助款，「既然行政院重視，補助款、建設款都要停」，必須徹底醒悟、落實執行。
