美9月領先指標 升幅超標

美國9月領先指標指數升幅超乎預期，意味這個全球經濟龍頭在政府局部停擺前夕愈來愈來勁。

美國經濟評議會（The Conference Board）今天公布，衡量未來3到6個月前景的領先經濟指數（LEI）連續第2個月攀升0.7%。彭博社調查經濟師的預估中值為揚升0.6%。

股價上漲連同信貸寬鬆，在邁入年底購物旺季之際讓美國民眾有消費的本錢。即使10月政府局部關門令企業和消費者觀望，這份報告仍意味明年初經濟成長將加速。

新澤西州Stone & McCarthy Research Associates美國經濟師肯尼斯．金（Kenneth Kim）在報告出爐前表示：「有些數據稍微變差，反映出聯邦政府關門的影響。心理效應一散去，邁入2014年的經濟動能應該就會變強。」

彭博社調查50名經濟師的預估值，介於攀升0.2%和0.8%之間。
