面臨市場激烈競爭，外資看壞宏達電後市表現，不過，宏達電最近動作頻頻，除賣回美國耳機廠Beats 股權獲利25.2億元入帳外，市場也傳出，宏達電創辦人、現任董事卓火土將親自出馬，參與宏達電部分製造、品管端的會議。
外界認為，經營層企圖穩定軍心。

另外，宏達電配合股東常會辦理董事、監察人屆期改選，原第一屆薪資報酬委員屆滿，並重新委任第二屆薪資報酬委員。

原任委員之一、前台灣大總經理張孝威，更換為中華化學工業股份有限公司薪酬委員會委員魏悌香，其餘兩位仍是前財政部長林振國與卓火土。
