北市民宅惡夜大火　逃生不及1死3傷

女子已經陷入昏迷，消防人員和死神賽跑立刻將她送醫，另外還有3名住戶也同樣被濃煙嗆傷。記者：「你兒子在裡面還沒出來喔？」傷者母親：「對，他不肯出來，我和我先生都沒有受傷，因為那個時候我們還沒有熟睡，我兒子被救下來了。」

看著兒子從火場被救出，媽媽心急如焚，不過消防人員發現他已經沒有呼吸心跳，立刻急救，但送醫後還是回天乏術，凌晨2點多，台北市新生南路上一場惡夜大火，儘管20分鐘後火勢就被控制，但還是造成3樓和4樓的住戶分別1死3傷。北市消防局副大隊長王耀震：「起火處目前初步判斷是在3樓，4樓是沒有延燒到，最主要是受到煙燻。」

濃煙不斷從起火的3樓竄出，女屋主發現得早及時逃生，不過兒子卻沒逃過一劫，不幸喪命，樓上分租套房的3名女性住戶受到濃煙波及，搶救後還好沒有生命危險，由於消防局接獲報案人指出有人縱火，警方不敢大意，起火原因有待詳細調查。
